The Soc. of JMJ from the very beginning has given top priority to the education of youth and is conscious that this is the vital aim and charism of its Founder Rev. Fr. Mathias Wolff S.J. The Founder founded the Soc. of JMJ with the sole aim of imparting education for girls and young women, this being the need of the hour in 18/19 centuries in Holland.
Inspired by the Founder’s charism, the JMJ sisters dedicate themselves and make persistent and persevering endeavors:
To impart an education for an integral formation through different disciplines of knowledge.
To prepare the youth for a future career by developing their intellectual, physical, social, moral and emotional life and their abilities, aptitudes and skills.
To mould the youth to be all-round mature persons, responsible citizens, useful to the society and to the nation.
To inculcate in the youth consciousness of the Fatherhood of God and be aware of their human dignity as children of God.
To develop their creative and aesthetic faculties, to cultivate love and appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of the country and promote spirit of patriotism for the Motherland.
To inculcate in the youth spiritual and ethical values.
To make them women and men of character.
To foster and promote social awareness and eco-consciousness and love for nature.
