The institution has successfully completed 28 years in fostering, enterprising and producing youth. This institute with current strength of 793 students from Nursery to class XII is supported and mentored by 42 Teachers, 02 Administrative staff and 07 supporting staff.
The new academic year commenced on 5th of April 2018. The summer vacation was declared from 1st May to 16th June. On 18th June the life gushed back into the JMJ campus as students and staffs were back after a long and refreshing holidays. We have always been committed to create an environment in the school which helps the young minds to blossom and provide a platform for individual thinking and holistic development of the child’s personality. We set goals for ourselves and strive to achieve them- be it in the area of academic, sports, discipline, and co –curricular areas.
ACADEMICS:
You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great”
I wish to begin with our performance on the academic front. Academic achievements reflect a demonstrated ability to perform to the best of one’s ability by developing one’s intellectual potentials and skills with diligence. We are happy to share the details of classes Nursery to 12th. In 2019 2nd batch of class 12 appeared for CBSE Board exam and result is awaited. We are also striving to motivate the students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever changing global society.
Sports and Games:
“To be a great champion, you must believe you are the best. If you are not, keep on trying.”
Sports competitions inculcate the spirit of positive challenges and sportsmanship among the students and prepare them for the life ahead. Hence Sports, games and physical fitness occupy a place of importance in our curriculum. Outdoor and indoor games are given their due importance. Facilities are provided for basket ball, cricket, hand ball, volley ball, and indoor games like chess, caroms, table tennis, ping pong etc.. The school continues to give students opportunities to play sports through its sports education programme at National, state, district as well as interschool games at all levels. Our students actively participated in different sports, competitions and won medals, certificates and trophies. Royal Cup Inter School tournament in Foot Ball, our School secured 2nd place. This year 50 of our students participated in state level games in Floor ball boys under 17and 19 years secured first place and were awarded gold medals and certificates, boys under 19 Target ball secured first place and received gold medals and certificates, In Netball boys and girls under 14 stood at the third place. Twenty students of the school are selected for national level games like floor ball, netball, target ball korfball and taekwondo and secured first place and received gold medals and certificates
DANCE COMPETITION:
Joshi sahu of class 4th secured 3rd place in solo western dance at National cultural dance competition in Krishna Public School Nehru Nagar Bhilai. And 12 of our students participated in Folk dance and got certificates and sealed. 
DISCIPLINE:
Discipline in life is an essential and indispensable aspect in the life of every individual in any walk of life. We insist on strict discipline in the school premises with the conviction that a Nation cannot make progress in the right direction without the well-disciplined citizens. The staff members are always with the students to supervise the discipline and emphasize the value system.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
Various co-curricular activities are held to develop children physically, mentally, socially and morally and to hone skills in co-scholastic areas. Many of the school programs find integration children of all classes. Certain events of the academic year are recitation of rhymes, drawing, fancy dress, fruit day, clay modeling, greeting card making etc. In motivating children towards respect for craftsmanship and as an endeavor to provide  the idea of small scale industries, students of classes 6th to 12 are taught to prepare flower pots , wall hangings, glass painting, ceramic craft, fabric painting etc.
SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS FOR STUDENTS:
“A person who never makes a mistake never tries anything new”
To ensure that our students are well equipped with Information and Technology to face any challenge, we have focused workshops such as:

  • Safety and preventive measures of child Abuse by child Line, Rajnandgaon. 
  • Life Skills education by Mr.Jain for the students of classes IX to XII.
  • Career counseling on NEET,IIT,JEE and NDA- National Defence Academy by Narshimha Reddy and team for classes IX to XII.

IN SERVICE TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS:
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever.”
In keeping with the schools policy of continuous up gradation of knowledge and skills, the teaching faculty attended various workshops organized by the school and others so as to improve their academic transactional skills and to appraise their capabilities.

  • A two day Capacity Building programme on Remodeled Structure of   Assessment and Counseling skills by Dr.Utkarsh Kapoor, Karyashala, Gurgaon.
  • Six members of the Staff attended Capacity Building Programme organized by Centre of Excellence, Kolkata at N.H. Goel School, Raipur.
  • Three other teachers attended two days capacity building and class room management programme organized by Centre of Excellence, Kolkata at N.P.S. Rajnandgaon.
  • A One day workshop was conducted by Next Education team in our school for all teachers. 

PARENT TEACHER MEETING:

  • Parent- Teacher Meetings are held on every first and third Saturdays of the month and as well as on the result declaration days of all internal examinations.
  • Parents are encouraged to interact, update and share the concerns of their wards with their teachers.

RTE (Right To Education): The School has brought smiles on the faces and has given a perfect platform to provide a bright future for the 25% of the students who have been admitted to the school under the Right to Education Act of the Government.
SCHOOL PARLIAMENT: Master. Sameer Bansod was elected as Head boy and Ms. Shraddha Meshram as the head girl along with the other Leaders and class monitors through the school Parliament election. At the Investiture ceremony the newly elected leaders were given all their responsibilities. An Oath of dignity and honour was taken by the newly elected prefects of the school.
CELEBRATION AND FUNCTIONS:- Our school celebrates some important days to make students learn about the culture, heritage, and to make children aware of the pressing issues concerning the environment and the world. Some of these celebrations are -
INDEPENDENCE DAY: Independence Day was celebrated in a simple way this year due to the sad news the death of the Governor of the state. 
TEACHERS’ DAY: The eminent mission of a teacher was aptly recognized on this day. Senior students of the school were at the helm of affairs and the day was celebrated acknowledging the efforts of the teachers and were truly honored. There was a cultural programme, which was presented by the students in honour of the staff.
CHILDREN’S DAY:  Children’s day was celebrated in the school assembly area. Talented teachers gave small cultural programme. There after teachers arranged the balmela in which all children and parents enjoyed the fun Fest organized in the School.
NATIONAL INTEGRATION WEEK: Students of Classes VI to XII actively participated in the event highlighting the richness of our country and exhibiting the rich culture of the Nation.
SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL DIMENSIONS: We have been keeping up with our value education classes as well as inculcating moral values among the students by providing them the opportunities to share and listen to the inspirational quotes every day during the morning assembly.
We have been continuing the practice of charity day to collect funds for the poor and needy. This year our students have collected an amount of Rs. 14000/- towards the Kerala flood relief and help age India.
PARENTS ASSOCIATION (PA): Our Palak Samiti members are closely and actively involved in all the activities of the school. And for any decision taking we call them for meeting.
I wish to appreciate the Guidance and support of the management especially the Provincial Superior Rev.Sr.Marykutty Antony and her council, the Manager of the school Rev.Sr.Flora and the members of the Governing Body as well as the Managing Committee their timely assistance in the day to day management of the institution and completion of the mission of education.
May Navjeevan find strength and vitality through the intervention of our Holy Patrons Jesus Mary and Joseph.
